golden bay and abel tasman

ok, so, since i left christchurch and hokitika ive done HEAPS. so excuse me if i dont go into detail that much i sure hope that you guys will be content with some pics. =)
from hokitika i drove up to golden bay with only a short stop at the punakaiki pancake rocks. in golden bay i was staying in takaka in areally nice hostel with awesome people. with some of them i made a day trip to the pupu springs (theyre supposed to be the clearest springs in the world) and then we went to the beaches near cape farewell and went swimming in the sea. for the first time in the sea without a wetsiut and since im already used to like 8 deg water it was really pleasant and we had heaps of fun... =)
ah, right, a canadian at the hostel had this gorgeous puppy which was only a few weeks old. its name was morfius and they also called him 'babeslayer'. =)
after only two nights in takaka i had to rush to do the abel tasman coast track in the abel tasman national park, cos i didnt really have any more days to spare here on the south island. the walk was really easy and the views absolutely stunning. the first day was about 5 days of walking and the second only like 3,5. but since i had to drive all the way up to nelson and then continue to the marlborough sounds on the same day i finished the track,it was quite fortunate... =)
p.s. saw one of the 40 'one rings' in nelson. =)
cheers
